Situated on a working dairy farm, the cottage has been transformed from a brick and flint period barn into high standard, beautiful accommodation. The property’s upside-down arrangement makes the most of the picturesque views of the countryside giving it bright, spacious living space.

The cottage has three bedrooms; one kingsize double with an en-suite shower, basin and toilet, and two twin bedrooms. The ground floor bathroom contains a bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. The first floor living space is full of character, with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, an open fire, and a breathtaking eaves window, this stunning cottage is a fantastic rural retreat.

Nearby is the Georgian market town of Blandford Forum, and the picturesque Jurassic Coast. The cottage features heating from electric wall heaters, and the fitted kitchen includes an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The living space includes a plasma TV with Freeview, DVD player and a library of books, games and DVDs. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, plus a starter pack for the open fire, more of which can be purchased from the owners. A travel cot and highchair can be made available upon request, and off road parking is available for four cars. With a farm shop and pub within 1.3 miles, and a garden with a patio and furniture, this outstanding cottage is perfect for a countryside break.
