This property makes for a great relaxing break for two. The outstanding detached, brick built cottage has been carefully converted from a former farm building. Situated on a working farm on the edge of the quaint village of Bispham Green, just ten miles from Southport, this superb cottage has been furnished to a high standard for the perfect romantic break.

The cottage’s modern style really shows off its character, with crook beams and exposed brickwork. The spacious living areas boasts an electric stove, great for curling up in front of after a day of exploring the surroundings.

Cedar Galleries and Rufford Old Hall are nearby, along with Formby Point which benefits from a large area of beach, with sand dunes and pine woods which are still the home to the Red Squirrel. With the Lake District, Western Dales and Trough of Bowland just an hour’s drive away, the cottage makes a great base for exploring.

The fitted kitchen contains an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and the spacious living area contains a TV, DVD, CD/radio, a small library of books and DVDs and a sofa bed along with the electric stove. The cottage has one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom containing a bath with an integrated shower, basin and toilet.

All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included and a cot and highchair can be made available on request. The cottage has plenty of off-road parking, and has a private garden with a patio, furniture and a BBQ. Within the garden, the owners have private freshwater ponds which are freely available to use for fishing. A bike store is also available, and a shop and pub can be found within a 5 minute walk.
