Sorry, no smoking.
This ground floor, stone-built mid-terrace cottage is a fabulous choice for a romantic break. A farm building conversion with original beams, and access to a shared hot tub (£40 p/w or £20 per short break) the cottage is full of character. Located two miles from a shop and pub and two miles from the market town of Brampton, it creates the perfect base for exploring the monumental area. The Northern Pennines and impressive Hadrian’s Wall are both within easy reach.
The cottage features one pleasant double bedroom, and one bathroom with a bath and integrated shower, basin and toilet. There is a small kitchen and sitting area with an attached summer room. The sitting room contains an open wood burning fire, perfect for relaxing. A starter pack for the fire is included, with access to more logs available (with an honesty box). The summer room opens onto a decked area with fantastic views of the countryside.
The cottage contains an electric oven and hobs with electric storage heaters throughout along with the open wood burning fire. A microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, radio, stereo and CD player are also included. Bed linens, towels, fuel and power are all included. A cot and highchair are also available. A railway line can be found within 250 metres, which creates some noise when trains are passing, and a shop and pub can also be found within 2 miles.
The cottage also benefits from shared use (with two other cottages) of a summerhouse. The decked area contains garden furniture and a BBQ, and there is ample off road parking. Located on a working livestock farm, this charming cottage is a great choice for a relaxing break.MORE INFORMATION
