THE PROPERTY:

Situated one mile from the Cornish village of Hatt, this rural one storey cottage is a great choice for a countryside holiday. Surrounded by beautiful views of the Cornish countryside within the grounds of the owner’s smallholding of alpacas, the cottage contains a raised private patio from which the views can be enjoyed.

With a comfy, open plan living space, a spacious double bedroom and bathroom with a bath with integrated shower, basin and toilet, this cottage is the perfect base for exploring the surroundings. A shop and pub can be found within the village, and just 3.5 miles away is the town of Saltash, perfect for shopping and a fantastic riverside walk along the Tamar Valley, along which a golf and leisure club can be found. Further along the river is Calstock, which has an abundance of wildlife including heron, water fowl, salmon and otters. Canoes and canoe tuition are also available here. National Trust properties are also within easy reach of the cottage.

As the cottage is situated amongst the owner’s alpacas, tenants have the opportunity to meet greet and walk the friendly animals by arrangement of the owners. Featuring an open plan living space, a modern fitted kitchen, dining and sitting area, the cottage has full oil central heating, and all fuel, power, bed linens and towels are included. The kitchen contains an electric oven, hobs, microwave and fridge. The living space includes a TV with Freeview, and a DVD player with a choice of DVDs and games. The cottage also has off road parking available for one car, although please note that the property is accessed through an uneven farm track. With bags of country charm, this cottage is perfect for a relaxing Cornish break.

Please note: this property is suitable for ages 18+ only. The raised (4 foot) patio is unfenced. Although unfortunately pets are not allowed, the owner’s cats and dogs may have been in the property, so it may not be completely free of pet traces.
