THE PROPERTY:

For those wanting to experience a true countryside retreat, this really is the best choice. Situated on the owner’s cattle and sheep farm, this detached property has the added benefit of having beautiful uninterrupted views of the Monadhliath Mountains from every room.

With one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, the property is suitable for families and is well equipped with a fitted kitchen with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The property also has a comfortable dining room and a sitting room with a fantastic open fire.

Just two and a half miles from the delightful village of Laggan, the house’s surroundings feature many walks, fantastic lochs, beautiful rivers and lots of wildlife. The area is very popular for outdoor activities including skiing in the winter. Nearby to the property in Laggan is a loch, and just five miles south is the opportunity to try the local Dram and visit the distillery in Dalwhinnie. A mountain bike centre is just three miles away and Newtonmore, Kingussie, Aviemore, Inverness, Perth and Fort William are all within easy driving distance, so there’s plenty to see and do.

The house has two bathrooms, one upstairs with a bath, basin and toilet, and one on the ground floor with a shower cubicle, basin and toilet. The property also has a conservatory, a great place to sit, relax and enjoy the phenomenal views.

Full oil central heating is included, along with the open fire, and a TV, video, stereo, CD, radio, small library of books and games and a payphone. Fuel, power, and a starter pack for the fire are included, and a cot, highchair, stair gate, and baby bath are all available on request.

The house also benefits from a garden, with a decked area and garden furniture – great for relaxing after a day of exploring the highlands. Off road parking is available for two cars, lockable bike storage is available, and a shop and pub are both within four miles.
